A tentative date for an Education Summit is established for August 2, 2005. The time and location is still to be determined. It will be hosted by Congressman Ray LaHood. WE NEED YOUR HELP TO DO A NEIGHBORHOOD SURVEY!
Garfield Elementary, Trewyn Middle School, and Manual High School will become full-service community schools. Volunteers are needed on Saturday, Sept. 24th to conduct a survey of the residents and business owners who live and are located within the boundaries of these three schools. 1: A presentation by the Community School Steering Committee: What is a Community School?
2. What can community volunteers do to help their schools?
